Coach Ximena is one of the young coaches at San Marcos Basketball. Her basketball achievements and coaching experience in high school and community camps enable her to communicate and relate to kids more practically and motivate them to give their best. She’s a Sage Creek Bobcats High School Varsity starter #1, played at IMG Academy Varsity Regional starter in 2025, SEMS Middle School Team starter in 2024, and Prolific AAU Team starter 2022-2025.
"I am a passionate basketball player and I've always believed that sports aren't just about winning games—they're about building character, teamwork, and confidence. A coaching role wasn't on my radar at first, but it turned out to be one of the most rewarding parts of my high school journey so far. Growing up, sports have been my foundation. I've played basketball competitively for six years, including being a starter on my school's varsity team. Through IMG Academy's rigorous training, I've learned the value of discipline, resilience, and leading by example—lessons I wanted to pass on."
